The distillery’s first casks were laid down on the 26th May 2016 and it bottled its first single malt whisky three years later.

The distillery operates with a “farm-to-bottle” approach, sourcing 100% of its barley from a single producer and using traditional floor maltings and slow fermentation techniques. Its original distilling setup included a column still and small pair of pot stills crafted by Hoga of Spain, with a new wash still later installed in 2021.
