From the 2018 collection of limited edition single malts from Diageo, each of which represents one of the landed family houses from the HBO TV series, Game of Thrones.
Out of all the great Houses of Westeros it was House Baratheon from Stormlands who raised their golden sigil with black stag rampant and did what appeared to be impossible – overthrew House Targaryen to claim the most desired Iron Throne.
Despite this great achievement, its line was almost totally extinct after the War of the Five Kings.In 1848 the small highland distillery Lochnagar – located close to the royal Balmoral Castle – was visited by Queen Victoria and King Albert, and became the first distillery in Scotland to be granted the royal warrant, known from then on as ‘Royal’ Lochnagar.

Royal Lochnagar produces a small amount of spirit bottled as single malt but can be also found in such well known blends as Johnnie Walker Black and Blue.Part of the Diageo limited-edition Game of Thrones collection, this bottling was released in cooperation with HBO to mark the final season of the groundbreaking TV series.
