£1.99
A Scottish malt whisky distillery on the Isle of Mull, originally established as Ledaig back in 1798. Having experienced a turbulent early history, Burn Stewart Distillers has brought success and stability to it in the modern era. It currently produces a standard non-peated spirit and a peated malt.
‘The Glenlivet’, encouraging their consumers not to accept any imitations. Glenlivet is in a long-running battle with Glenfiddich for the title of best-selling single malt, with both now selling over a million cases a year.
This 15 year old release of Glenlivet, matured in French Limousin Oak casks. Limousin Oak is very commonly used for the maturation of Cognac.
This was launched as part of a new core range in 2004 and replaced a 12 year old age-statement of the same maturation.
