By focusing on sustainable packaging and in homage to its coffee influence, Intense Arabica was presented in a 100% recyclable and biodegradable box which is made using natural by-products in the coffee-making process. These include sustainably sourced coffee bean husks.

Released in October 2022, Inspired by the Ethiopian Arabica bean, Ethiopia is claimed to be the birthplace of coffee as the Arabica bean was the first species of coffee to be cultivated. The packaging has been expertly crafted to give new life to coffee bean husks, a by-product of coffee, that would otherwise have been discarded.

The Second Edition, Smooth Arabica was created by The Macallan Whisky Maker Steven Bremner, who immersed himself in the art of coffee. Using Yirgacheffe and Limu coffee beans he hosted a masterclass with world-renowned coffee masters at The Macallan Estate, exploring the process from field to cup and uncovering the unique process and distinct flavour profiles of the beans at each stage.
