It’s time to meet the beast – the Timorous Beastie, that is! Douglas Laing has created a limited edition bottling of it’s Highland blended malt expression, featuring whiskies matured for at least 13 years before bottling.

Having been in specialist and craft Scotch Whisky production for generations, Douglas Laing originally exported blends, but now carries the family name down the line by focusing on bottling exceptional single malts and grains as part of their Old Particular, Provenance and XOP ranges.

They also enjoy huge success with their “Remarkable Regional Malts” range; a series of creatively named vatted malts, designed to epitomise the characteristics of Scotland’s whisky regions.

The whiskies were aged exclusively in American bourbon barrels, and it’s been bottled up at 52.5% ABV. 3,000 bottles of this little beastie were produced. it takes its name from a Robbie Burns poem, but despite sounding small, it’s by no means a shy dram!
