This is the first release in The Home Collection, celebrating Macallan’s Distillery. Inspired by the natural beauty of The Macallan Estate, artist and Macallan employee Colin Rizza has beautifully depicted the Distillery in watercolour and this artwork has been used on the packaging for this release.
Colin and his family have deep ties to the Distillery, having worked there for over three decades. The Home Collection series celebrates Macallan's origins, which have been deeply rooted in community since 1824.

The third release from The Macallan's "wood-focused" Edition series is the combination of work by master whisky maker Bob Dalgarno and master perfumer Roja Dove to create whisky using their very particular sets of skills. The flavour profile for Edition No. 3 was created by Roja Dove by using the same formula he would for a perfume: pinpointing complementary aromas, and balancing these with a “counterpoint” note.
