This twenty-five year old single malt comes from Aldi . It’s a limited edition expression, launched to coincide with Christmas. In the dram, there’s the freshness of aniseed, the tartness of cooking apples, and a hum of clove. Distillery Bottling is a term used to define a whisky bottled by the company that produced it, using the official branding of the distillery itself. This is also known as an "official bottling" or sometimes shortened to OB.
The second Compass Box homage to Delilah's, the legendary punk rock whisky bar in Chicago. The first was bottled on the advent of it's 20th anniversary in 2013, and this 5 years later on its 25th. The whisky itself was produced using a small parcel of the original 20th anniversary blend, matured for a further 5 years, with Spanish sherry oak and American oak matured malt whiskies added to the mix.

Traditionally its malt was mostly used in blends such as Cutty Sark and The Famous Grouse, however since 2013 a new emphasis has been placed on its single malt brand. This is a Tamdhu bottling from the 1990s and is a difficult bottle to find and ideal for collecting Distilled at Tamdhu distillery in Speyside, this expression was bottled before Ian McLeod distillers took over the distillery.
