A former entry level bottling of Macallan, the Gold was introduced as part of the 1824 range in 2012. When that series was discontinued in 2018, the Gold expression transitioned over to the newly created Double Cask range.
Just 5,000 bottles of Ness of Brodgar’s Legacy were produced in 2018 with a percentage of proceeds donated to the charity that oversees the 5,000-year-old Neolithic World Heritage Site for which this expression is named.
