This third batch of Fable’s splendid Blended Malt, which is now an 8-year-old and like its predecessors it’s been bottled from hogsheads and ex-bourbon barrels (without colouring or chill filtration, of course) at a hearty but approachable 46.5%.
The labels for Fable’s blended malts include some of the same elements as the Chapters of the Clanyard Bay story (eg Fairies, the Piper etc).
Each Chapter represents a distillery, of course, so if you’re inclined towards solving mysteries a little digging might give some hints to the malts within this whisky.
