Highland Park 10 Year Old Rebus 30 | 2654!

From the team that brought you The Buyers Bottle, The Free Entry Into, The Macallan Mystery and The Insurance Bottle, comes a brand new competition! Risk it or Biscuit combines many of your favourite competition mechanics and once again provides us with the opportunity to create a unique winner twice a month. Firstly the prize will be more akin to that of a low ticket competition, a step up from the regular fare of our other ‘unique winner creation’ competitions.

Every other Tuesday the 100 ticket competition will be drawn and anyone who wins a main prize in that evening’s draw will not be eligible to win. Sounds a bit like the insurance bottle? Not so fast – there are some major differences! Only winners of the 5 main prizes in each draw will be out of contention, so if you win a BB, a Free, a Second prize or an Insurance you are still in it to win it!

So where’s the Risk I hear you clamouring? This leads us to another unique twist! Each player can have a maximum of 5 entries. If you do win one of the main prizes in the Nights draw then you will receive a flat 5 pound site credit return on whatever tickets you have bought, and with the tickets only being 1.99 do you take the risk that you will be a winner and buy just the one ticket more than doubling your initial purchase? Of course if you then don’t win you have dramatically slashed the odds of success in the Risk It competition.

Maybe your risk will be increasing your odds and buying the maximum 5 tickets, sure great chance at the Risk It but if you win a main you’ll only get that fiver back – mind you I guess one could live with that if you have a main prize sitting on your mantle! Or do you risk waiting to grab your tickets until BB day – or will they fly off the shelf like the insurance bottle leaving you without a chair when that music stops?

What’s with the biscuits? As you well know our generousity knows no bounds! Second place will be a packet of biscuits with which to dunk for all those of you who can’t join Col in a dram on draw night. I’m sure a few pics with you and your McVities (other brands are available) on the winners wall will drive the others crazy with envy!

Risk it will be launched within 24 hours of the conclusion of Friday’s draw, with only 100 tickets available keep an eye on your emails and our facebook page!

Winners of this competition will not be eligible to win the regular insurance bottle on the night of that draw, and will receive the appropriate compensation for tickets purchased for that competition.

The largest and oldest malt whisky distillery in the Orkney archipelago, located in Kirkwall on the main island. Founded in 1798, it is today part of the holdings of the Edrington Group and its whisky is world-renowned for the unique flavour provided to it by local Orcadian peat.

Highland Park is one of Scotland’s most famous island distilleries, located in the town of Kirkwall in the Orkney archipelago. Founded back in 1798 by David Robertson, it is today part of the Edrington Group following its acquisition of Highland Distillers in 1999.

The Highland Park brand is world-renowned for the unique character provided to its whisky by Orcadian peat, cut by the distillery from Hobbister Moor.

A largely treeless island, Orkney peat contains less lignin and more creosol, creating a lightly-smoky and floral single malt that proved hugely popular with blenders and when bottled on its own.
