Maison Louis Royer VS Cognac Brandy | 2155!

Founded in 1853, Maison Louis Royer has always had a passion for a job well done and a love of excellent products. Located in the small town of Jarnac, on the banks of the Charente, she patiently produces, to the rhythm of nature, remarkable cognacs, expressing the best of fruit and eaux-de-vie. It was in 1853 that Mr. Louis Royer, cellar master, son of a renowned stonemason in the region, decided to create a cognac house in Jarnac.

He infuses this house with his humanist values, his generosity, his love of a job well done, his sense of teamwork, his patience and his desire to reveal and offer the best of what fruit can offer. A passionate beekeeper, he finds in the bee qualities that are dear to him and it is quite natural that he makes it the emblem of his House.

Quickly, the personality of this visionary man combined with the remarkable quality of his Cognacs allowed the house to take off: Louis Royer cognacs can be found on tables all over the world, symbols of a certain French art of living. The family home, the Château des Aubrais, became a holiday resort for customers, who became friends during their stay in France. They rubbed shoulders with artists, thinkers, philanthropists… The ideas expressed there, the values defended there, remain a precious heritage that his successors will be keen to promote and transmit in turn.

Our cellars, historically located on the banks of the Charente, benefit from natural temperatures and ideal humidity for a gentle, regular ageing of our eaux-de-vie. These perfect conditions allow our cognacs to fully express the generous aromas of the fruit, combined with a delicate roundness: the subtle taste of the cognacs of yesteryear.
