Mossburn 12 Year Old Famille Dupont | 2017!

With the first bottling taking place in 2017, Mossburn Distillers Ltd is a relatively new company but it prides itself on its deep roots. Initially, the first bottles released from Mossburn were in the form of classic Independent Bottler Malts.

In the three decades prior to this initial production, its team was fused on honing and refining their skills within blending and bottling whiskies and other spirits, ensuring their launch would provide top quality products.

As they continue to grow, Mossburn Distilleries plans on adding their own highly prized Single Malt Scotch Whiskies created within their own distilleries. With distilleries, both Torabhaig and Reivers are vastly different both in location and concept. Torabhaig on the Isle of Skye creates vibrant, peated new-make spirit, whilst Reivers Distillery in the centre of the Scottish Borders is extremely low profile and is not open to visitors.

Equipped with a pot and 18-plate column still built by German fabricator Kothe, the Scottish Borders distillery has been producing rye spirit since its opening, and has also made genever.

Bottled as part of the Cask Collaboration Series.
