The whiskys are a glorious set of three bottles from The GlenAllachie Distillery in Speyside. The bottles are;
The GlenAllachie 11 Year Old Grattamacco Wine Cask Finish
To craft The GlenAllachie Wine Series, we first expertly matured our spirit in American Oak Ex-Bourbon Barrels. Subsequently, the whisky underwent additional maturation for almost two years in Wine Barriques meticulously sourced by Master Distiller, Billy Walker, imparting a distinctive twist onto the GlenAllachie spirit.
This ruby blush malt, brimming with notes of toffee, stone fruits and orange peel, is crafted from wonderful medium toasted Super Tuscan Barriques. These certified Organic Barriques were carefully selected from the Grattamacco winery in the beautiful Bolgheri area of Tuscany in Italy, and then bottled once optimum balance of wood and spirit was achieved.
This expression is bottled unchillfiltered for flavor with no added coloring at 48% ABV.

Rich Ruby Blush. Nose
Waves of honey, peaches and apricots, with toffee, almonds and orange peel. Taste
Toffee, heather honey, red berries and peaches, fused with apricots, orange peel and nutmeg.
The GlenAllachie 12 Year Old Ruby Port Wood Finish.
This gorgeous ruby red malt was initially aged for ten years in American Oak Barrels before being re-racked into Ruby Port Pipes. The secondary maturation period further develops the depth of flavour and complexity, as well as bestowing a vibrant, rich colour.
Bottled at 48%, with no added coloring and unchillfiltered for flavor.

The GlenAllachie 13 Year Old Madeira
This glorious golden malt has been matured for over eleven years in American Oak Barrels, before being transferred into expertly selected Madeira Barriques which previously held wine made from Malvasia grapes. The result is a unique twist on the classic GlenAllachie style, with the perfect balance of sweet and spice.
Bottled at 48%, with no added coloring and unchillfiltered for flavor.
