The Macallan Whisky Maker, Steven Bremner, brought together two of his passions – music and whisky – and showcased how the Whisky Makers of Macallan excel in their mastery of flavours and aromas their oaks provide.

Just as a musician plays with different instruments, adjusting sound and depth, the Whisky Maker plays with different cask types, layering flavour and depth. We are in a world of balance and harmony.

The Macallan Concept Number 2 is a Speyside single malt, aged in American oak sherry casks, Miguel Martin sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks.

It has notes of toffee apple, vanilla, oak spice, blackberry rose water, cinnamon and pistachio and comes at a strength of 40% ABV.
Its sunburst gold colour is driven solely by casks. This is a delicious, complex and well-balanced whisky.
