ISLE of Raasay Cask Strength Release For Summerton Whisky Club | 2154!
This was where co-founder Alasdair Day’s ancestors blended whisky in a grocer’s shop. In anticipation of the distillery’s first whisky release in 2020, R&B produced a peated Highland single malt in 2015 called Raasay While We Wait in suggestion of the type of whisky they aimed to produce; a fruity and lightly peated malt. Two Isle of Raasay spirits – peated and unpeated – are matured separately in first fill Rye whiskey, fresh Chinkapin oak and first fill Bordeaux red wine casks. These six recipe casks are married together to create the perfect dram with real elegance, complexity and depth of character. Bottled for The Summerton Whisky Club. 61.3% ABV, 70cl

Royal Lochnagar 12 Year Old Game of Thrones ‘House Baratheon’ | 2160!
Lochnagar managed to establish a greater amount of luck and success when in 1845, John Begg built his ‘New Lochnagar’ which gained a rare Royal Warrant only a few years later. This was no doubt aided by Begg’s friendship with the Royal family: Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and their eldest children were even treated to the first tour of a distillery. Royal Lochnagar remains Diageo’s smallest distillery and plays an important role in Johnnie Walker Blue Label and it’s the signature malt of Windsor, the best-selling Scotch blend in South Korea. To accompany the final series of the epic HBO drama, Diageo helped ease the tension by releasing a range of eight bottlings - one for each season of the show - from eight different distilleries across the Scottish regions each representing a Game of Thrones House and adorned with the respective crest; supposedly with some connection between the dynasty and the distillery. Lagavulin 8 Year Old 200th Anniversary | 2184!
1962 marked a significant point in the distillery’s history, as it was then bought by John Logan Mackie, whose nephew Peter went on to create the White Horse blend with Lagavulin at its heart. These days the distillery, along with White Horse, belong to Diageo. However, it is generally agreed that while Lagavulin’s core range remains reliably excellent, older expressions bearing the White Horse name still have the edge. A special limited-edition bottling honouring the work of whisky writer Alfred Barnard, who visited Lagavulin in the 1880s: ‘No prettier or more romantic spot could have been chosen for a distillery,’ he said, describing an eight-year-old whisky he tried there as ‘exceptionally fine’. ⭐️ £2.99 Per Ticket Good Luck! | £2.99 Max: 20 Min: 1 Step: 1 Add to cart | |
