Glenkinchie lies, as the name might suggest, in a glen of the Kinchie Burn near the village of Pencaitland, East Lothian. It is situated about 15 miles from Edinburgh. The distillery is set in farmland. The name 'Kinchie' is a corruption of 'De Quincy', the original owners of the land. Its origins date back to around 1825 when it was founded by brothers John and George Rate, While there are no direct records it seems likely that Glenkinchie is the Milton Distillery previous recorded in the area. The Distillers Edition of the Classic Malts of Scotland brings a new dimension of taste and exploration to the enjoyment of Single Malt Whisky. Distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2002. Glenkinchie distillery is a Scotch single malt whisky distillery in East Lothian, Scotland. It is one of the six distilleries in the Lowland region. It is owned by the drinks giant Diageo.
A distillery located in the Park Royal area of north-west London. Opened in 2016, its operates a “farm-to-bottle” approach, sourcing 100% of its barley from a single producer and using traditional floor maltings and slow fermentation techniques.

Situated in the Firth of Clyde, the island of Arran was once a hotbed of illicit distillation and smuggling. Eventually though the dreaded Excise men got the best of Arran’s renegade stillmen, and the island was without a working distillery from 1837.
One of the most recognisable names in Scotch whisky, Glenmorangie were quick out the gates to advertise and promote their Single Malt to a global audience as early as the 1960s.
Based in Annan very close to the border with England, the newly opened Annandale Distillery was painstakingly built by husband and wife, David Thomson and Teresa Church to reach the former glory of the original distillery dating back to 1830.
