Cotswolds Harvest Series Amber Meadow | 2441!
They have been producing fine spirits since 2014, including Gin, Absinthe and cream liqueur. However, perhaps most significantly (for us at least) 2017 marked the release of their first whisky, finally having come of age after three years of maturation. Since 2022, a completely new distillery has been built on site to house some of the old equipment as well as a new 2 ton mash ton and two much larger stills. This has now quadrupled the annual output capacity to 500,000 litres. The old still house is now used to produce rum. Glen Deveron 1990 10 Year Old | 2456!
When the spirit is bottled as a single malt the name on the label is Glen Deveron or The Deveron. The five stills at the distillery, two wash and three spirit, have rather interesting quirks; in order to fit them in the still room, four of the stills have right angled bends in the lyne arm and on one of the wash stills the lyne arm is U shaped. Old Perth Deployment 7 SBWAS Exclusive | 2463!
Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers is solely owned and operated by one of Scotland’s oldest and most prominent whisky families, Jamie and Brian Morrison. It marks the Morrison family’s return to distilling since Brian Morrison sold Morrison Bowmore Distillers, after nearly 25 years. Since 2017, they have started distilling their own single malt in Aberargie, Perthshire. Aptly named Aberargie Distillery, it is located on the family’s 300 acre farm just outside of Perth. The Old Perth blend is a liquid tribute to the city it takes its name from. Originally created in the early 1900s by the Thomson family who were well-known grocers in the city. Old Perth was brought back to popularity in 2013 as a blended malt.
