Created from whiskies matured first in sherry-seasoned oak casks and then for an equal time in ex-bourbon casks, this single malt is crafted to explore maturation more imaginatively.

The knowledge and skills involved in creating this bold and exceptional single malt demonstrate The Macallan’s dedication to pursuing excellence and offering new experiences. It also reflects the unrivalled commitment to the mastery of wood and spirit for which The Macallan has been known since it was established in 1824.

Concept Number 2 is the second release in the Concept Series – a collection that fuses the passion behind The Macallan’s whisky-making with innovative art, music and culture. A limited edition whisky created exclusively for Global Travel Retail, Concept Number 2 brings together music and whisky – two of the passions of The Macallan Whisky Maker, Steven Bremner.

Remarkably, Steven has combined his great interests in this expression – beyond being a Whisky Maker for The Macallan, he is also an avid house music DJ.

UNITING TWO FORMS OF CREATIVE ARTISTRY
The Macallan Concept Number 3 brings together whisky and design through this latest collaboration with David Carson, one of the most influential and revolutionary contemporary graphic designers.

Carson brought his perspective and unique style to the design of Concept Number 3. He was inspired by his time spent at The Macallan Estate working alongside The Macallan’s Whisky Maker, Polly Logan. Best known for his innovative magazine design, and use of distinctive experimental typography, David has designed the pack and label for the third and final addition to the Concept range.
