That Boutique-y Whisky Company has taken some inspiration from the bottles of yesteryear for this brilliant blended Scotch whisky! It’s a 32 year old expression, presented at 40.1% ABV, and boasting huge helpings of fudge and vanilla in its flavour profile.

The label looks like something you might find on a bottle unearthed after many decades of undisturbed slumber – those that highland cow still looks great.

Batch 1 is a release of 437 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

“Married from a bundle of casks of no less than 32 years of age, this indulgent whisky is full of characteristics only achievable after decades in oak: nuts, chocolate and gentle wood spice, all a gluggable 40.1% abv. Hopefully the first of many batches of this recipe.”

The Label

“Taking visual cues from great old blended Scotch brands, in this case St. Leger, TBWC’s St. Thomas references three of our team members on a single label (Liz, Phoebe and Dave) including a whisky industry first “…& Daughters”.

The inspiration for this label came from classic Scotch labels of yesteryear.

All those wonderful words; “Extra” “Special” and “Finest Oak Casks”, as well as an Emily Chappell-illustrated Highland Cow.”
