A limited release for the UK market that is Ex-Bourbon & Oloroso Sherry cask aged that has flavours of mulled wine spice, orange fondant, ginger cake, mocha, toasted walnut, fruit and nut chocolate and aromatic oak. A richer and sweeter style of Glenmorangie that is really delicious.

Inspired by the chilly climate up in the remote part of Scotland where the single malt whisky is distilled between the months of October and March. This is the Scottish winter time which allows the liquid to be intensified by cold copper. This results in the whisky has a rich, deep character bringing smooth honey flavours with hints of spice and soft heather.

• Their stills are the tallest in Scotland which means that only the longest and purest vapours make it to the top, giving a smoother, more elegant whisky. They are at a height of 5.14 metres the same height as a fully grown adult giraffe.

Nose: Fresh and fruity, sweet, peaches, honey and oranges. Hints of vanilla and mint.

Palate: Starts fruity with a young profile of malt and oranges. Honeyed sweetness followed by oak spices.

Finish: Medium long but rather rough bittersweet with hints of oranges.
